surprise vt.使惊奇; 突袭; 意外发现； n.惊喜，惊奇; 意外的事； 例句： This is such a surprise!这真让人惊奇！ And you promised me a surprise.而且答应给我一个惊喜。 但是在不同的场景当中，根据惊喜的程度不同，我们所用的词也会不一样。
amaze 语气较强，指因认为不可能或极少可能发生情况的出现而感到惊讶或迷惑不解。 例句： He amazed me by his audacity. 他的无理让我惊骇。 I was amazed to find her there. 发现她在那，我感到很吃惊。
startle 指因突然的惊吓或意料不到的刺激等而使人惊跳或震惊。 例句： The least noise would startle the timid child. 最小的响声也会吓着这个胆小的孩子的。 The man was awoken with a startle. 由于受到惊吓，他醒了过来。
